Dancers in your saree!!!

All the art forms bring happiness to our minds. Dance is a very special art form that involves music and rhythm. There are a variety  of dance forms and all are unique in their own way.
The different dance poses can be depicted very beautifully in canvases as well as in dress materials.  The different colour combinations adds to the style. A saree with the dancer design really looks fabulous and unique in a crowd..

Check this Kerala saree with maroon border and beautiful dancer sketch in maroon and golden shades. Given also is the blouse piece that carries the contrast colour design in the sleeves....

This second saree has a different dancer pose and is done with royal blue and golden shades. Again there is the matching blouse piece with contrast design.

Now check this Kerala saree with a third dancer posture in dark green and golden shades and also with green border......

Some kurti designs...

Here are some Kurtis that has been painted using fabric colours. With matching bottoms and anyone will definitely look great in them...
 fish painted kurti fabric
A red colour cotton kurti material with shining grey FISH designs. The image has been done in a custom manner without any particular order, that looks good when sewed.
 mango design kurti fabric
This is a peach colour material with mango designs done evenly on one side. Notable flesh and black colour combination suits well with the fabric colour.

A black colour cotton fabric which has been designed with numerous colourful star shapes ., and it ends up in a diagonal manner. Also lower border and sleeves are also given same design that will look even.

There are more to come in my coming posts... Please wait for that.

Is it simple???

Fabric painting always seems simple, but it's not that easy.
Right from choosing the correct design and colour, to the complicated shading procedure and preparing even the pallu and the blouse material, this requires talent along with good concentration and great patience.
So every work may not show the output even though hard work has been done.

What colors?

Designs can be sketched on the cloth using pencil ( for light colored fabric) or using chalk (I use tailoring chalk for dark coloured material).
Contrast colours bring up the designs and shading creates the SEEN beauty.

Below are some simple designs I made on kurti materials and sarees....

Fabric painting designs never end..... They can be improvised again and again and again, still be so fabulous that would make one stand unique in a crowd....

A simple peacock!!

Other than floral designs which are very nice but frequent, peacock as well as peacock feather are used widely on dress materials as painting designs. These images can be improvised and brought into the desired fabric.
These are designs that can be drawn in simple and also in very complicated way. But they go well with any colour combination and in any type of fabric...
These are two types of peacock designs done in two different ways ......but still FABULOUS.....

Beautiful peacock design with green, blue and yellow colours combined.
The upper border is given running peacock feathers in light green background, that looks awesome, I feel...
The lower border has simple and single peacock feathers with a definite distance...

Again a very different drawing of peacock that's nicely done and is also simple. The peacock feathers drawing on either of the borders just gives a feel that they're colour pencil sketches....
