A search in my wardrobe - part I 😄

          I have done fabric painting in many of my dresses and also of my family members. This includes kurtis and sarees mostly. 

          This has given me more confidence in working on materials for sale as per demand. 

          Here are some of my kurtis I have hand painted and designed for myself.

Madhubani fish design

       Fish design is my all-time favourite. I have found a variety of fish design in all types of traditional Indian paintings. Madhubani is one of them. 

        For such designs you require much more concentration . And they look great in different colour combinations as well as in simple black and white combination. Black with contrast light colours also does well like orange or yellow or red etc. 

         Shown in this post is a Madhubani fish design. The kurti is dark maroon colour and 

so the design is done in the neck area. In the dark background design is flesh coloured with black border. 

  Kurti material is handloom cotton  comfortable to do the hand painting and comfortable to wear also....

Maroon is a very fascinating colour that goes well with any other colour when combined.

Instructions:  

Washing: hand wash in cold water; do not soak too much in soap

Ironing. : do not iron over the design;always iron on the reverse of the design

This is a peach colour material with mango designs done evenly on one side. Notable flesh and black colour combination suits well with the fabric colour.

A black colour cotton fabric which has been designed with numerous colourful star shapes ., and it ends up in a diagonal manner. Also lower border and sleeves are also given same design that will look even.
